Mission Statement

Moonrise Herbs exists to inspire our global community. Our distinctive tools and resources promote holistic self care, personal healing and spiritual growth through all phases of life.

Philosophy
Moonrise Herbs is proud to supply over 300 bulk herbs and tea blends. We make sure to search for only the highest quality herbs available on the market. Whenever possible, we source organically grown or ethically wildcrafted herbs. We buy from small companies to assure great quality, vibrancy, color and scent. We also create several tea blends ourselves. Popular choices include Radiant Skin Tea, Peaceful Tea, and our Hang in There Baby.

Questions we ask ourselves when considering new products:

• How does it feel to us?
• Does the supplier have a commitment to ethics and sustainability?
• What is the cost? To us? To the customer?
• Where is the company located geographically?
• What does the packaging look like? Is is over packaged? Is it tasteful or gaudy?
• Do they use recycled material when possible?
• Is it a unique product?
• If a supplement, does it have supporting literature?
• What is the quality of the product? How well is it made? Are ingredients organic?
• Is it fair trade?
• Is it a small family owned company or a huge corporation or subsidiary?
• How easy is it to contact the company for questions?

Fair Trade
Fair trade is an organized social movement which promotes standards for international labour, environmentalism, and social policy in areas related to production of fair trade labeled and unlabelled goods. The movement focuses in particular on exports from developing countries to developed countries and insures fair payment to producers of goods. Buyers at Moonrise Herbs make every effort to purchase statuary, jewelry and gifts from vendors who honor fair trade.
